Hi, I'm Lera.
I'm Lera Ovcharenko, an Art Lead and Visual Designer working at the intersection of mobile games, illustration, and design systems.
Most recently I led 2D art direction at Product Madness in London, working across multiple game titles. My work spans concept, key art, in-game assets, UI, and the style guides that hold it all together.
Before that I spent two and a half years at Playtika as a Senior 2D Artist on Caesars Casino, with earlier stints designing UI and illustrations at Agilie and starting out as a graphic designer at Coover Box — branding, packaging, and editorial work.
I'm based in the UK and open to selected project work in 2026 — particularly art direction, redesigns, and rebrands.

UI & UX
Design and deliver intuitive UI for mobile games — from UX flows and interactive prototypes to polished UI assets and implementation-ready specs. Partner closely with UX, Product, and Producers, and collaborate with developers to ensure accurate in-engine results.

2D Art
Create high-quality concepts, key art, icons, character concepts, and in-game assets aligned with game design goals and player experience. Drive end-to-end feature delivery, including mission redesigns and seasonal reskins, from concept to final assets.

Graphic Design
Produce strong visual communication across brand and product needs — mockups, promotional visuals, packaging/branding, and marketing assets. Experienced in creating visuals for campaigns and client work, balancing aesthetics with clarity and production constraints.

Creative Direction & Vision
Define and translate artistic vision into actionable direction: set visual benchmarks, guide long-term visual goals, and lead complex redesigns and rebrands that become reference points for future work. Comfortable leading cross-team alignment (Art, UX, Product/Game Ops) to ship cohesive experiences.

3D
Use 3D tools (Blender/ZBrush) to support production through 3D exploration, textures, and paintovers, strengthening quality and speed of ideation. Working proficiency in Unity to validate art direction with practical setups.

Style Guides & Design Systems
Build scalable, consistent pipelines through art style guides, file-structure standards, naming conventions, and review cadence — ensuring quality across in-house and outsourced teams. Translate vision into process so teams can deliver faster without losing consistency.
